Location

Seaview is a picturesque village that still retains much of its Victorian feel. It is set on the north east coast of the Isle of Wight between Ryde and Bembridge. It has commanding views over the Solent towards Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour. Ocean liners such as the QEII and Queen Mary II can be seen sailing past to and from Southampton.

There are a few shops for essentials, but the village has not been developed as a tourist attraction, so it has kept its natural charm. A supermarket can be reached a few minutes drive away. There is a thriving yacht club, especially as dinghies are built in Seaview by a local boat builder. Sailing in the warmer months is therefore very popular for participants and spectators alike.

The area is blessed with some really lovely beaches many of which have beautiful sand. These are popular with children for swimming and playing. The shoreline also offers great opportunities for walkers. The area also provides an excellent choice of places to eat.
